Probate

Both probate and trust administration encompass the same three functions: 

1. Making an inventory of the decedent’s assets;
2. Paying all debts and taxes that are due;
3. Distributing the assets remaining after payment of debts and taxes in accordance with the instructions of the deceased.

In probate administration, the authorization of the executor is provided by the Superior Court Judge. We can guide you through the process of administering the probate estate from start to finish, whether you are the nominated executor, a beneficiary or an heir.
